Why and when HFSC Membership?
To put it simply, HFSC membership is great for skaters working with a private coach and are looking for additional ice time for training, performing, competing and testing! We love to see our membership grow but want new skaters to join when the time is right. Learn to Skate lessons and the attached Learn to Skate membership is a fantastic option for first, second, even third or fourth year skaters! The coaching, membership fees and lesson time are all packaged together and still offer the option to pay for extra practice time during any rink hosted OPEN FIGURE skating sessions. Members graduating from Learn to Skate will move into an a` la cart option specific to their budget, schedule and skating goals. When skaters and families are looking to take that next step it’s time to talk to a board member and a coach and see if club membership is the best next step. We encourage families to be mindful of the membership year. In some cases, families can join as introductory members early in the calendar year and then have to renew in the late summer. Club membership opens many doors for skaters but is not always a necessary next step for skaters. We have two tiers of skating options so we can offer more to our community! Coaches are private contractors and set their own hours, rates and workload. Coaches must be compliant with all US Figure Skating Coaching Compliances for current skating season to offer lessons on any figure skating sanction ice sessions.
The Helena Figure Skating Club membership year runs from July 1-June 30 each year.

Payment portal for club member club jacket. This is for the JACKET and does not include embroidery. That will be a separate portal to come later.
Update on club jackets - sizes and jacket cost (pre embroidery) payment of $55 due by 10/30
Cost: Each jacket will be $55 for the jacket itself, and then embroidery costs which break down to $25-$35 for back logo (smaller sizes $25, larger sizes $35), name $6, if you add “competition team” it will be an additional $7.50.
For example: an adult size jacket with name and comp team added would be a final jacket cost of $93.50.
Sizes: We need your sizes by the end of the month. Please set up a time to meet with Jessica Call to get measured or try on our sample jackets. Sizes run different and the jackets will be sent directly to the embroidery place, so once the order is placed we can’t return or exchange it. Sizing will go through Jessica and is not asked for in this portal.

- Chloe Noel JT88 Unisex jacket (both in black)
Payment: The $55 per jacket will be due before we place the order on 11/1 (this portal). The club will be paying the vender directly, so if we don’t have your $55 we won’t be ordering your jacket.
The remainder for the embroidery will be due to the club before you pick up your jacket (as the club will then pay the embroidery place directly). COMING SOON.
